"I haven't been here in 10+ years so I was unsure of what to expect. Suffice it to say, it was amazing. I ordered a cheeseburger (hold the pickle and onion) with a side of fries. Had a coke to wash it down and a coconut meringue slice for dessert. I really enjoyed everything. The burger was cooked to perfection and very juicy! (did I mention the bun was toasted!) On to the service, My server was very friendly, attentive and accommodating to me asking so many questions. The wait time for food was not too bad. I will definitely be back and recommend you go give them a try!"

"I’ve been stopping by Pepe’s Diner in San Angelo for quite some time whenever I’m in town, and it’s always like a home away from home. The atmosphere is warm and family oriented, and the managers do a fantastic job of making everyone feel welcome. They often walk around, chat with customers, and make sure everything is just right. If there’s ever a small issue, they handle it on the spot with no hesitation. Plus, the food is absolutely amazing, always delicious and satisfying. They keep the place tidy and even have a nice little catering setup if you need it. If you’re ever in San Angelo, Pepe’s Diner is a must stop place to eat. Highly recommend!"

"Pepe's is one of those hole in the wall places where the locals go to. It is a Mexican American restaurant where the serving size is decent. I had left overs for lunch the next day. The place is older and could use some updating but the vintage look I see part of the charm. Everything was clean including the bathroom. The chips and salsa we just right. We don't like spicy food and we both liked it. Our server was friendly and she kept our tea glasses filled. We sat in the far back corner away from the door because it was cold outside. There was music playing on the TV above us which was nice because it was 80's music and we knew all the songs. It was not so loud that we couldn't hear each other talking. If your in the mood for some good Mexican food give Pepe's as try."
